Today’s addition of “works for me Wednesday” is about organizing your kitchen. And since I have my kiddos clean out the dishwasher, put the clean dishes away and put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher (isn’t is great having slaves children?), organization is a must if I ever want to find anything again!
We used to have that plastic container where the spoons go here, the forks go here, the knives go here …. you get the idea. Well, apparently the forks never wanted to be together and the knives liked living with the spoons. At least that is what is surmised because no one ever ‘fessed up to putting them in the wrong place.
So here is something that I have found to really help with the silverware drawer. We have one container for the spoons, one for the forks …. This has really, really helped. Occasionally, we still do have those “hopping” utensils, but it’s only a few of them (instead of the whole sha-bang!)
See, doesn’t it look purdy? Go oh and visit rocks in my dryer for more ideas.
