For about 5 years now, some friends of our rent out Camp Bird in Marinette County. It all started when 2 of their children were going to Africa as missionaries for 2 years and they wanted to get all their friends and family together to say goodbye. It was such a good time for all that it is now a annual thing.
It is a wonderful time of fellowship, refreshment, good times of seeing old friends and making new ones. We rent out the whole camp, which is around a beautiful lake, and the grounds have wonderful spots for children and parents to explore. It is yearly on over Labor Day weekend and we have all been counting down the day until it’s time to go!
I’ve been packing all morning. Packing for 9 people for 3 days takes some planning, which I make a list for. We are almost set to go!
