I saw this cute little Labor Day meme over at Connie’s page and I thought I’d play along (even though I did already post).
How long were your labors?
1. I didn’t have labor with Maacah. She was breech and we didn’t know it until that morning.
2. 38 hours

4. 17 hours
5. 60 hours. And that’s no joke! 48 hours of that was hard labor, too!
How did you know you were in labor?
1. (read above)
2. I timed them and since they were 3-5 min apart, I went in.

5. I knew, but the medical personnel didn’t believe me (hence the 60 hours) until I mentioned that the baby hadn’t moved for about 4 hours. Then they finally kept me (after being sent home 3 times)
Where did you deliver?
The hospital.
Did you use any drugs?
1. Since she was breach, I didn’t have much choice.
2.Yes, epidural, but way too soon.
3. Yes, epidural after 3 hours of non-stop HARD contractions. I was at a “failure to progress” stage and opted for the epidural instead on another c-section. He subsequently was out in less than an hour after the epidural was given.
4. Yes, epidural.

Did you have a C-section?
Yes. One.
Who delivered your babies?
1., 2., 3., 4. All of them with doctors.
5. He came on his own. The nurse was still setting up stuff and the doctor was turned away from me/us, still washing her hands. He had no help what-so-ever to get out. Not even from me!
